Cycling is a great way to work out and go around. But there is more to it than that.
Cycling is like the perfect four for the price of one situation:
- You get a workout
- It’s usually an effective mode of transportation, especially in urban cities
- It’s cheaper to travel
- It’s environmentally friendly
So not only is cycling good for your health, but it also has lots of other benefits.
Now there’s even more reason to opt for cycling, especially if you live outside London and don’t already cycle.
According to new research by transport charity Sustrans. if other British cities follow London’s example and adopt cycling as a major transportation method, about 34,000 people would avoid life-threatening health conditions.
So if you are in a city other than London, perhaps it’s time to look into getting a bicycle and exploring that as an option for getting around.
