The field of AI is constantly evolving, and the driverless car technology is at the forefront of that evolution.
And now there’s yet one more development.
For long, driverless cars have not been able to read visual cues and signals from pedestrians, which has been a challenge for driverless cars.
But new AI developments can make that challenge a thing of the past.
A new software, developed by Perceptive Automated, can enable driverless cars to notice gestures and signs made by pedestrians, and get them to react accordingly.
We are getting closer and closer to driverless cars becoming a viable option.
